Halal Academy

Halal Academy ("the Academy") is the education and training arm of International Halal Labuan Foundation.

It aims to provide globally recognized Professional Certification programs as a Global Benchmark for Halal professionals in the Halal industry. Its Professional Certification programs incorporate essential knowledge of both Food Safety and Halal Auditing as a combined professional certification for Halal Auditors. A globally accepted International Accreditation system for professional Halal Auditors and Halal Management Executives is currently under development and will be established under this program.

Working with industry, the Halal Academy's training programs are tailor made to suit the specific industry requirements, and provide exposure in understanding the different requirements of Halal Councils and Halal protocols across international markets.

The Academy provides practitioner-oriented Halal auditors and Islamic finance training and resources via its collaboration with MARSHAH (Johor Islamic College) and UNITAR.

The Academy shall also provide job matching services for participants who have completed the Halal auditors' training modules.
